A hat makes an excellent accessory. It adds pizzazz to your already fab dress, but it can also leave your hair staticky once you take it off. To avoid the flyaways, pin a hairdryer sheet to the inside of the hat. The sheet will diffuse the electrical charge that makes hair stand on end -- and if static does set in, you can rub the dryer sheet along your hair from root to tip to eliminate it.
