Review: Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream

Ever tried using a CC cream? Also known as Color Control cream or Color Correcting cream, a CC cream, which was created and developed in Korea is similar to a tinting moisturizer. I'm familiar with BB creams, but this will be my first time to use a CC cream. Studio Gear sent me a sample for evaluation purposes. So, join me as I discover how it helps moisturize skin.

Product Description

Hydrating CC Cream transforms and enhances your complexion in an incredibly light, smooth formula. This foundation simultaneously fights aging, retains moisture, and covers and treats blemishes with a non-oily, perfectly radiant finish.

Key Benefits:

  • Protects: SPF 20 protects the skin, while Hydra-Extend technology provides moisture for up to 72 hours. Perfects: Enjoy natural looking coverage while micro-encapsulated pigments perfects and fade dark spots and acne scarring.
  • Corrects: Anti-aging and collagen building ingredients help minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Hydrates: Hydra-Extend technology provides up to 72 hours of continuous hydration.
  • Conceals: Micro encapsulated pigments deliver a fresh dose of color that adapts to your own skin tone, creating the most natural looking coverage.
  • Smoothes: Skin nourishing ingredients help to correct and maintain youthful complexion.

My Opinion

I like that the consistency of the cream is thin. That means it won't be too heavy on my skin. It's thin, but it doesn't run off your hand or finger. It also dries up pretty quickly. As soon as you start massaging, your skin absorbs it fast. My skin felt smooth and soft instantly. The finish is amazing as well. I've got dark spots, but the cream covered all that. As for its brightening effect, it's too early to say. I've only been using it for a couple of days. Overall, I love what it does to my skin. It looks more healthy and the color is so natural it didn't look like I had a CC cream on.

Pros

It's a great cover up to hide those skin imperfections. It is light weight and not cakey at all when applied. The cream does not leave an oily finish, so you don't have to worry if you are on the oily side.

Cons

None!

Recommendation

It's great for women who do not like to put so much on their faces. Real foundations feel too heavy; this one is light and thin, but covers up skin imperfections.
