Belts That Can Slim Any Waist

Belted dresses may not be a very good idea for the not-so slim ladies because belts draw attention to the waist.  But it's not the end of the line.  You can still wear belts in a way that will flatter your body type.  Choose a thin belt!  

An inch wide or less would be perfect.  Just make sure the belt matches the color of your dress.  This makes the thin band blend in, so you get the cinched effect without drawing more attention to your problem zone.
